it has been a long time since i last posted but have been following the threads.
As for an update, my lfs and my own tests showed readings of 0 and a ph of 8.2-8.4 as of monday. I removed my damsels and added 2 clown fish into the tank as of last night.
Now for my problem:
My eel has been kicking up a lot of sand especially during feeding, when i turn on the powerhead, sand is being shot out of my powerhead. I also have a problem when turning on my skimmer. seems as though the return stirrs up sand in my sump and sand gets shot out of my return.
I ran a diatom filter twice for three hours each time. It helped a bit but sand is still being shot out.
Is there any way i can filter the floating sand out of the tank
Thanks
