Sand Cleaning

Guys,

got a 60l tank which is filled with sand, and wandered what is the best way to clean it periodicaly.
With my gravel one (190l) i use one of those special suction hoover things to get the old bit of food and poo out

Any ideas?

just use the vacuum and hold the end about 1/2" to 1" from the sand, after a couple of tries you'll get the hang of it.

Me too, it workds a treat! Although I usually hold mine closer. Remember any sand sucked up can be put back in afterwards.
