Sand Based Tank, Which Plants

Hi Guys,

Ive decided to have ago at a planted aqaurium however, i already have a setup tank which has a sand base. Which plants work well will a sand base and if so do they require CO2?

My amazon sword has been going crazy in my sand tank. All I do is plop some ferts in there once a week

My tank is sand, no co2. I have jungle val, crytps, diandra and sessifloria in there now, and they are all doing great. I don't think I have ever had a problem with plants in sand... they sometimes float up but i just push them back in. Once their roots get a bit longer that will stop happening.
