salt

[clueless]

Have read a lot in the forums about not using table salt as a cure for your fish and would like to know more about it. I have had a few sick fish and made a bath out of a plastic bowl with an air blower, disolved the amount of ordinary table salt recomended on a web site and have had exellent results with a 45 minute bath on fish that would have died in the past. Does anybody have any experience with this as i would be interested in any comments.

I don't use table salt because it has iodine in it.

I only use aquarium salt.
