As some know i am going to start up my marine tank in a few month.

Its going to start of as a FOWLR and will get some corals once the tanks matured. It will mainly be soft corals (i think there the easier ones)

i dont really want to be adding extra additives so would rather go for a slightly more expensive one if it means not having to dose extra.

I personally use Reef Crystals, a lot on here use something else, the exact brans I cannot remember though :sad: Salt choice really depends on the levels for everything you want from the salt. I personally like good to high Mg, Alk and Ca readings, which Reef Crystals gives me out of the bucket :good:

Take a look at the thread a few down from this, "Is it safe to change salt" we are discussing salt brands on there.

Personally I use TMC pro reef salt, same as my LFS which helps I believe in acclimatising sensitive animals.
