I have heard horrible rumours about what happens when a BN plec is in with salty water. My BN is in with 2 mollies, some platies and a few Female fighters, but i was wondering if i could add some aquarium salt for the mollies. How badly do plecs and salt mix?

plecs can not stand any salt in water mollies how ever mollies can live in brackish water

Plecos will have a shorter life span in a salted tank, even a little bit will hurt them.
