Salt with farlowellas?

My royal farlowella has ich Will salt harm him? I only have melafix to use (Oh yeah, big help ) and I just want to be sure salt won't hurt him. I'm not losing such an expensive fish to ich

please .

quarantined for 3 weeks and in like a day or 2 after adding him to the display tank had to move it back out , the temp is about 81 degrees f right now.

Maybe just water changes will help .
