Always room for one more tank...
370L tank, SA setup and cycled at least a couple of months (by moving two mature externals over.) Temp around 28 degrees. Stocking of Sajica, Rainbow, Nicaraguan, Sev and 5 pim pictus. Most recent addition was 3-4 weeks ago. The tank isn't is well filtered as it should be as I'm having problems with getting the outlet sorted for the third filter, but running with an Eheim 2222 and Fluval 305 and haven't had any trace of ammonia or nitrite. That said I can see traces of food so I must have been overfeeding recently (I feed Hikari Cichlid Gold with weekly frozen bloodworm or frozen cichlid mix) which I've now removed. The Sajica is the daddy of the tank - he's not been getting picked on.
Ammonia is doing it's usual "is it 0 or is it 0.25." I'm pretty confident it's at 0 - the Sev is a wild Rotkeil, and I think if ammonia poisoning was the cause he'd be the first to notice it.
Nitrite is at 0.
He's laying on the bottom and he's still alive, but not going anywhere. I last saw him around 9 hours ago and he seemed fine then. None of the other fish seem to be experiencing any difficulties.
I'm totally out of ideas. Help?
