i have a gibbicep ( positive id by members of this forum) which altho my tank is big enough for it i want to swap it for a plec that wont grow as big ideally the 6 to 10 inch mark. he is currently around 4 inches long

will not let him go to anybody without a big enough tank to accomadate his adult size of potentially 18 to 26 inches

Sure you wont change your mind on the gourami’s Mark?
I can give you £12 instead of the £9 you wanted.

Otherwise consider this a free bump for the plec haha.

I love these plecs but they get sooo massive,i used to have one in a old 5 foot tank with a Oscar and i had to sell him on cos he grew so rapidly!

Lil bump there ;)

If you cant rehome him Mark, i am sure SeaPets around the corner from us (well not quite i know haha) will take him off you. Because im new to the area - what other good LFS's are there near us, other than SeaPets?

-free bump

seapets used to have a bad reputation but now the fish house is run by a knowledgeable member on here it has been sorted out and is about the best round here at the mo mate most of my fish are from there and they are all very healthy specemins

Ah i see, yeah im going to pop in there Sunday or Monday to pick up some guppys or platys.
Was not impressed with PetAtHome much - cheap but doing all sorts wrong.

i wouldnt take a fish from pets at home if you paid me. sapets have got quite a good selection of platties
