Sailfin Plec Possibly Available

This is Guinness.

He is a common (Sailfin) Plec.

He came with my tank and three very boistrous Oscars who were quite lively due to outgrowing their tank. They have now been rehomed and Guinness is much happier cohabiting with Angels, Congo Tetra and a Rainbow Shark. He is very nervous around people though and has been since I've had him.

He is now approaching 2 years old and is a healthy 6 inches in size, not having grown significantly in the last year, although it is difficult to tell (Pic was taken when Oscars still in the tank so nearly a year old).

I am toying with the idea of rehoming him if I can find him a more suitable habitat in the South West. However, I am very attached to him so reluctant to do so. I am just not sure he is happy in the tank...

If you are looking for an amazingly attractive sailfin plec, then let me know... If not, I will keep working on him!

Update:

Guinness has grown! He is now 25cm in length tip to toe, all inclusive! See attached picture although this doesn't really give much indication of scale.

Anyway, I am taking on some rescue fish on Sunday to prevent them being flushed (Apparently). Guinness is still here and still a shy one, but happy in the tank with his small tank mates.

But... It looks like I am not going to be able to upgrade the tank as quickly as I wanted as the elusive, larger house, is still on the horizon. Whilst according to the aqua calculator, I am just in bounds in terms of stock levels, guinness doesn't really help matters in all honesty so I think the time really is here to move him to a more spacious home.

He is still free as long as I am satisfied you are going to take good care of him.

Anyway, Collection from Cheltenham. He really is a good looking plec.
