My sailfin pleco has developed a sort of blotchy pattern, I have searched around and have found similiar photo`s, but im concerned he may be Ill 
What i have noticed is the Pattern does sort of conform with his markings ( if that makes sense) but im a bit shocked at how soon its come on, he was all black/brown until a few days ago.
I will try to post a pic of him if I can get him out in the open
