Hi, I was directed here for help with my dilemma. I'm inheriting a Sun Catfish (Horabagrus brachysoma) and a Chinese Algae Eater. I am used to keeping smaller tanks with small fish, so I'm not sure which fish will be ok to put in with these two. I understand that the catfish will eat whatever can fit into it's mouth, so what minimum size should I be looking at for it's tank mates? I also have to rule out bigger, slower fish such as angelfish because of the Chinese Algae Eater. Any suggestions? Thanks!

, Sun catfish reach 12"
, CAE's are EXTREAMLY aggressive best kept on own in a tank or with aggressive cichlids.
, Min tank 4x2x2 for the Suncatfish
, Suncatfish are best kept with fish like large catfish in a large tank so something like a 6x2x2 with Jack dempseys Acars and Firmouths.
