Safe Driftwood For Rubberlip Pleco

I was considering adding a rubberlip pleco to my 46 gallon tank and I have read that plecos enjoy driftwood in their aquarium. Unfortunately, the only driftwood my local Petsmart sells is Mac's Grapewood Driftwood in the reptile section of the store. Has anyone else heard of or used this driftwood? Would it be safe to use? I do not want to harm my current fish and any future fish. Any knowledge on this product would be greatly appreciated.

i don't have any knowledge on the product however you can keep the pleco without the driftwood. it should be fine without. but im sure it would be happier with driftwood.

So, the rubberlip pleco really won't need the driftwood to survive?

Chaetostoma catfish need cooler temps and a good circulation of water in their tanks to do well long term. Like the riverine fish I have, they require quite a high oxygen saturation in the water.
