SAEs and Otos

Anyone ever had trouble keeping SAEs (true SAEs, not those imitation, slime-sucking species) and Otos together? My two Otos in my 29 gallon are always hiding. I just added two new ones and they're always out and about. While watching my fishies today, I saw the SAE chase the new Otos a bit. Got me to thinking, and I wonder if my other two Otos are always hiding because Sam (the SAE) doesn't like 'em.
