Good news bad news time.

First, the bad news.

In newfoundland, I was planning on getting a huge tank for the goldfish, as the 15 gal is too small.
I can't buy it, because it would be too big to take back home.

Good news.

Sometime around this week/next week, I WILL get a tank, but only a small, maybe 5 gallon one.
Which will be home to a betta.

So once we are cycled.

IT'S BETTA TIME..

of course im only kidding, i like a flick thru there now and again ( when there pics to look at) and they are all nuts none the less, but with a passion for bettas,you`ll be made very welcome

yes they are, but this is a tropical fish forum not goldfish

there are sections for goldfish but he always posts in tropical discussion ??

Got a call from my grandmother today.
I'm getting a 5 Gallon Hex. My grandmother's not one for brand names, but I know the name has tetra in it.

Now the cycling part is going to drive me insane.

The Betta that I saw the other day that I like was a Red Crowntail, but the tail was only a small one.
He was a male for sure, but a short crowntail, not quite a Plakat.

If they don't have one of those guys, I'm getting a Blue/Green Veiltail.

i love the betta fish. I have 1 now and 1 that recently passed.
They are great fish and very interesting to watch and learn their habits.
