Hello.
I have a 10gal tank with a hood that has 2 incandescent light bulbs in it. When I go to replace a bulb the glass part seems to spin free from the metal part (the bottom part of the bulb) witch seems to be RUSTED to the light socket.
I then have to take off the hood and unscrew the metal part with pliers (getting rust all over the place). I have tried different types of bulbs along with different brands and they all seem to do this.
My question is, is there any way to stop the rusting from happening? Perhaps there is something I can apply to the socket before inserting a new bulb?
Any help would be great, thanks!
