Hi all,

I've got 2 juwel T8 light units on my rio 400 and was wanting to use one of them to run a single blue tube as a night light.
My problem is that the tubes cannot be switched on / off independantly of eachother and I don't want to leave one side without a tube in it for fear of condensation getting in and dreaking it ( something juwel units are notorious for anyway)

Andy Suggestions?

Thanks

Andy

I dont think the Juwel light unit will operate without 2 functioning bulbs attached.

If 1 tube goes the whole unit will fail to function, this is a real pain as you don't know which bulb has failed so a bit of messing about is required.

I personally would just add an arcadia t5 moonlight bulb to your rear flap on the hood and set it on a seperate timer from your juwel unit. This is the only way I can think of doing it from personal experience.

Piece of cake to do also as you only need to drill 2 holes and hey presto!

Let me know if you want some additional info on doing this.

HTH,

Bricko
