rubberlipped

Anyone out there have a rubberlipped/rubbernose/bulldog pleco? I just got one yesterday. I was looking for a smaller pleco for my 36gal. and found this beauty. I'm wondering if they like driftwood? I only have algae on the driftwood and she hasnt touched it (yet). I heard they are shy but this one is out and about. She has a nice little cave but she is out more than in. I'm also wondering how big they really get? My research tells me about 4". Can anyone confirm?

They only get around 4" Mine has been 2" for the past 3 months When your plec settles in the algae is gone, these are the best algae eaters I have ever kept (they surpass otos IME)

Nice to hear! Do you have any driftwood? Does the rubbernose suck on it?

No I don't, but I have seen my pleco suck on shrimp, either frozen or pelleted
