Rubber Nose Pleco

Hey all!

just today i bought a whiptail catfish and a rubber nose pleco

the whiptail had settled in really well

but the rubber nose is under my filter not really moving...is this normal?

ive tried to look on the internet for information on them but i havent really found many useful things

could anyone help?

Give him a couple days to settle down, are there plent of hiding spaces for him/her?
 
Have you got a pic?
If it is a Rubber Nose Plec, as far as I know, they prefer cooler water than your normal tropical tank.

Give him a couple days to settle down, are there plent of hiding spaces for him/her?

yeah there are loads! I've got quite a large piece of bogwood as well as a fair few plants

If it is a Rubber Nose Plec, as far as I know, they prefer cooler water than your normal tropical tank.

Ill try and get one now, but the filter is at the back so i cant promise it'll be any good lol

sorry about the cory lol he keeps trying to get in on the picture and wanting to sit with the pleco! its kinda cute :wub:
 
He doesnt look overly stressed by the pic so i would just leave him be and keep an eye on him, he should settle down soon enough :)
