Rubber Lipped Pleco

I'm thinking about getting 2 of them to help with the waste that my messy bichir creates but, i've heard some plecos are slime-suckers. The stupid woman at petsmart was like oh yeah, they do suck slime off bichirs. That will help keep him clean. She's an idiot. anyways any help would be much appreciated.

I guess i wasn't being very clear, i was in a hurry. isa rubber lipped pleco going to suck on my bichir and do him harm or could they be compatible tankmates

IME, they don't, and probably won't for you I can't guarantee that they will leave your bichir alone though, so don't blame me if it o happens that one does
