thinking of picking one of these guys up tomorrow

two quick questions before I make any decisions

Do they need anything special? Real Driftwood, etc?

Will it fit in a tank 30"x12"x24"?

They like slightly cooler temperatures than most plecos.

Also like fast flowing and highly oxygenated water.
