Hello all, i'm thinking of buying http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WILD-PAIR-APISTOGRAMMA-PANDURINI-PANDURO-3-4CM-/280581020279?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item4153ee9a77 these fish as they look stunning to me, problem is they'd be travelling 500+ miles by royal mail due to where i live :/. Do you think this is pushing the fish a bit to far.. i wouldn't want to go ahead and purchase them knowing they had a poor chance of surviving the journey. Thanks

Considering most of the fish LFS get travel from South America or Singapore i dont think a 500m trip should be a problem as long as there well packaged.

Up in the highlands of scotland the only place i can get fish now that a friend who bought from a wholesalers shut his tanks down is pets at home. Enough said really, to get to a decent one i'd have to travel to fife witch is a 3 hour journey :/

probably best to wait a few months for warmer weather kesgrave have these in stock all the time anyway

Tbh as kizno said, they travel ridiculous distances when being shipped from abroad. Yeah alright this time of year isn't ideal... but only in the sense of if they're packaged badly. So long as they're well packaged with heat packs, insulation, double bagging, fragile and 'this way up' stickers. Then I really can't see a problem... Maybe ask the seller what their policy/prodcedure is when packaging fish in this weather.

And double check that your area (and any the fish might be going through), aren't suffering any delays.

Hey, those are really beautiful. What's the story behind Apistogramma Pandurini? I'm not familiar with them. Are they very aggressive?
