I have recently introduced 6 rosy tetras to my tank of 4 rosy barbs.

It would appear all my fish are male and in the last day or two they seem to be constantly chasing each other and swimming at each other.

Is this something I should be worried about? Should I be trying to source some female rosy tetras to swap half the males with?

Rosy Tetras are very closely related to my Pink Jewel Tetras. Mine "fight" all the time, but it can easily be mistaken for a show of dominance or even courting, because they like it rough :hey: Unless actually injuries and/or fin nipping occurs, just let them be. Wouldn't hurt to get some more females either :good:

Thank you crossfire. If I was to add 2 females to the 6 males would this ratio be too unfair on the girls?

Are you sure they're all males? And the females are pretty rough, in my tank they're the ones that fight the most, I think they can handle themselves, buts thats just and observation. Perhaps you could do a little Google expedition, and get the info you need :good:
