Hey any pictures of true and false roseline sharks? I just learned that there's two species of roseline shark or densoi barbs existed in aquarium trade. And how difference between true and false?

Barbus(Puntius) denisoni is a species. They have a plethora of common names in the trade. Everything I have seen that has been called a Roseline Shark or Torpedo Barb or any of the other daft names has been denisoni. I am not aware of a second species using those common names.

From a commercial point of view, trading a cheap fish as a "False Roseline Shark" may add to it's value. There is always someone trying to make a fast buck.

But there's two form of Denisoni barb are sold in aquarium trade. One are smaller and true form (Puntius denisoni), other are much larger and aggressive known as (Puntius chalakkudensis). So how can I tell what's difference between these barbs?

Barbus(Puntius) chalakkudiensis you missed an "i" ! I have never seen the fish imported, and from the scant literature, it would seem to be smaller rather then larger the B. denisonii. Do you have a reference?

Butch, P.Chalakkudensis is not that common in the trade, the vast majority are P. Denisoni so you really dont have to worry. In all likleyhood you will not get the Chalakuddy variety. in either case the claim that the Chalakuddy is more aggressive is unverified.

The Chalakkudi is the larger variety. There is an interview with Heiko on PFK:http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/blog.php?blogid=185

That's really interesting isn't it. The two small reports I have, and indeed, fishbase, state it to be smaller then denisoni.
