man, these guys have been a want for a bit of a while....

But I Hear different numbers from different places.

Some say a group of three is okay. Some say 6 is the absolute minimum.

But i seriously dobut 6 would be comfortable in a 2 1/2 foot by 1 1/2 foot 40 gallon hex tank.

But three could probably do fine, and then i could put cardinal and glow light tetras in....

What are your thoughts?

Will roselines be able to work in a group of 3?" And that alone is... 90 dollars... 180 for 6 fish... wow...

still. I dobut i'd do a group of six anywho, but i just may. But i dobut it'd do well. That's still (By that flawed inch rule) working in the inch of fish per gallon, even at max size. what do you all say?

These aren't classed as oddballs I believe, 5 is absolute minimum but more is better. It's the tanks footprint/sureface area that matters not how many gallons it is. The inch per gallon rule is not for fish this size it is for little 2" fish. Your tank is just not suited for them, if you get 3 then it's not suited as they want more to shoal with simple as.

Sorry for my bluntness.

:good:
