have any of you heard of one? i was just wondering because we (my family and i) have had one for some time now. hes really cool . hes about 6-8 inches i would say by now. he really dosnt grow very fast but thats fine. we feed him frozen tiger shrimp you would get at a grocery store (after its been thawed). i was just wondering if anyone else had one because hes my favorite fish we have and i wouldnt mind talking about them!

Well they are rather rare but I hear that they are exilent escape artists. Why not just tell us about your fish. for instance If it were, oh lets say, a piece of rock climbing gear what would it be? What other fish do you have with it (you should set up your signature) how does he interact with them? and anything else

i didn't no those were rare my lfs has like ten of them

I thought they were. Maybe I was wrong but I've never seen them in an LFS or anyones signature. Maybe you should buy one

There are a few people who own them on here, I know Ste2k3 had some. They are not overly rare they are just one of the more unusaul fish that aren't as common like Asian Eels and other Oddball species.

I used to have one - I see them all the time in stores. Mine liked to hide under rocks etc. He committed suicide by jumping out of the tank in the back by the filter hole, which I guess is very common. I was told that they actually can survive out of the water for a short amount of time because they have primitive lungs.
