Roma 125 Light Upgrade

hi all

i bought a roma 125, 27 gallons a few months ago my first aquarium
am bored of plastic plants and want to try some real plants.

but the lights are t8 20w x2 and that is just 1.2 wpg plants will struggle to grow
i want to grow some dwarf hair grass and stargrass and a few other plants

and ill be doing diy co2 with it

i was thinking of copying this guys lighting

would it be ok to have the lights that close to side of hood?
i would get a couple reflectors aswell

x2 t8 20w and x2 t5 24w 6700k bulbs id be using then

There are several sizes
