im setting up a 55 gal us with a sand substrate. the fish im planing to put in it are 1 segalus bichir, 1 geophagus surnamis, 2 purple spotted guedgons. i wanted to get some surface dwellers, so someone told me about these fish. the scientific name is Ctenolucius hujeta. I heard that they should eat fish, so i was planing on getting 3 of them and feed them about a dozen guppies a week or so. every day i would try to put krill and flakes in, and every other day beefheart, blood worms (frozen), and none (just flakes and krill). im not sure if this tank would be over crowded, please tell me if it is. and please tell me some basic info on the Ctenolucius hujeta or rocket fish, like price, feeding, water parimeters, substrate ect. im deffintaly going to have the sengalus and geo in it. maybe a convict will be in there if there is no other place for him.
