Just finished my rock work for my keyhole tank. Just thought I'd post a pic and see what people thought. I'll post more pics once I add sand, a little bit of wood and some plants, oh and water.

PS Ah now I see, looks pretty good, have you glued/siliconed the pieces to avoid collapse.

I can see it, and it looks great. :good:

Keep it up, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result - I'm looking to do something similar when I upgrade my malawi tank, so inspiration is good.

looks cool and i think the fish will like it :good:
(but i share bigC's concern that you've stuck the rocks together :) )

Actually yes I have actually. I have read quite a few threads about rock work and how you should silicon them together so they dont fall over onto the fish. so yeah I have done that, I'm really excited to get it all going, I wish my moving day would come sooner! lol

Look to be some pretty sharp edges on that...

Yea... my slate has some good edges as well (appears to be slate in schoolys pic). My fish have been fine. I have malawi mbuna and a victorian species though.

Looks good schooly :good:

I didn't glue any of mine. It took forever to put them in. Set one or two in and bump test it to see how stable it was. That was ssooooo time consuming.

Looks good, i am setting up a malawi tank with slate, this is good inspiration, it is similar in what i want to achieve
