Rock Shrimp

just seen a rock shrimp in my lfs. can anyone provide me with info on these. adult size, feeding water conditions ect.

AFAIK there are two main species sold as rock shrimp, aka bamboo shrimp aka many many more names
Atyopsis spinipes and Atyopsis moluccensis both require the same water params
which seems to be any tropical tank reguardless of gh or pH values as long as the extreames are avoided.

the main difference between the two is adult size
A.spinipes reaches 6cm where as A.moluccensis reaches 8cm

occasionally Paratya compressa is also found sold as rock shrimp
but as they only reach 3cm they are not that popular so they are harder to find in shops
