can someone please give me an idea on how to place my rocks..i move them every week and then im not satisfied...tanks in petshops looks so nice but mine doesnt...

cant honestly say there is a specific way of placing the rock its just down to personal preference.....most people on here ull find have changed there rockwork round a few times before they were happy with it. try looking at other peoples tanks and get an idea of what u like and go from there.

You can only make an arrangment with the pieces you've got, so a mental picture of what you desired before you bought the rock would have been a good idea if you could visually pick the rock yourself from the LFS. Everyone's tank is different so be creative. I quickly arranged mine on the floor on a black bin liner before transfering the final setup into my tank, The rock will be fine for a few minutes out of water as long as its kept wet. If you wish to cement rock together to form caves/overhangs then use marine epoxy. Try to maintain an open structure rather than a brick wall effect so a water can flow over and around the structure so as no to form dead spots within the tank.

Plenty of surface area for coral placement at various heights, the rest is up to you. Pile it high and wide is the method I used.

Regards :good:
