I'd be happy to give you any advice you need, just PM me if theres any specific you need to know!
Basically they are pretty difficult to handle mainly because they're so quick and can jump up to 2 feet in the air if necessary! Also, they cant be kept in bar cages because they can squeeze through the bars (my cage was 0.9mm and they still managed to escape lol)

Taming robos can take a long time, depending on the robo. Out of my two, I'm only able to handle one of them lol the other is far to fast and shy. But they do make lovely pets and are great fun to watch, my pair do everything together including running side by side in their wheel and drinking from their water bottle together at the same time, its very sweet.
Anyway, i'd deffinetly recommend getting some, they're hard to resist!

My son got two females two weeks ago and they are so fast that one of them was out his hands and under the tv in less than 2 seconds. It took about 10 minutes to catch her again though.
They are fun to watch as they run round the cage but we have heard them fighting and one of them runs away to hide but if the other goes where she is the timid one gets attacked again. This just started happening a couple of days ago and happens maybe three times a day. Does this mean we have to seperate them? Any advice welcome.
The cage is quite big with lots of tunnels and a large house for them to hide in.

Oh my gosh, too cute!

Congratulations on the nominations! Please wait for the April nomination thread to enter them though. :)

I'd keep a close eye on them both (which i'm sure you're doing) ocassionally they'll have little fights for dominance, and generally it isnt anything to worry about providing they have plenty places to hide from each other if they need to.
If ever they fight and there is blood drawn, you'll have to seperate them immediately and unfortunetly you wont be able to re-introduce them.

Hopefully it wont come to that though, just remember that when you clean the cage leave a little bit of used bedding in there, just so they remember they live together when you put them back in. That may help stop the fighting.

I hope this helps you in any way :)

Thanks Gina, the bedding makes sense as my son changed all of it and the fighting started a day or two after that.
The little one has plenty of places to hide and theres no blood but still carefully watching and all has been silent so far today.
Thanks again :)

No problem, I'm glad to help! :)

Oh and I took these two pic's today, so cute i couldnt resist posting them:

Very cute! What type of shavings u use? Can't really tell.

btw something with owning dwarfs is their complicated diet. Dwarfs are very prone to diabetes and cannot have any corn, peas, carrots, fruits, or any store bought treats. All of these foods contain sugars. Natural and un-natural sugars. Dwarfs can get Type-1 diabetes which is passed from the parents or type-2 diabetes from eating to many sweet foods. So it is very important to stick to the diet. Thsi means you must pick out any of these foods from the food mix. And you can't get any treats from the pet shop for them either. they always have some sort of salt or sugar in them.

Robo's are very fast and usually nervice. It can take a while to tame but you should never ever give up.
