Okay, since i wont be having a skimmer on my tank, will i need to add anything else to the water otehr than salt? No chemicals or anything?

Correct, you need a Marine salt mix designed for saltwater fish/ecosystems :)

Sorry to hijack but on a similar vain. Whats the best SW mix to get?

I found the comparison table (linked below) but not 100% sure what parts I want to have more of, what parts I want less of and what parts I want to be as close a match as possible?

This would be for a lightly stocked FOWLR to start with but once I know what I'm doing and the tsank is mature and stable I would be getting into corals.
