Ro Water System Vs Declorinator Tetra Aquasafe

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if RO water systems are really needed for marine setups? Can't you just use Tetra Aquasafe when you replace water like you do with freshwater ? RO systems are expensive please can you tell me if you have to have them to begin a marine setup?

Well, if you dont use one your tank will almost guaranteed to have infestations of hair algae and cyanobacteria that will be unstoppable...
