Ro Unit

Hi i have a ro unit it is a couple of years old and it has only been used on two occasions 25litres each time it has still stayed connected the whole time.
Can i use it now for marine or do i need to rplace cartridges etc
or will it be ok

I'm no expert, but from what I gather you can tell when they need replacing by using pressure guages before and after the 'pre filters' and by using a TDS after the RO membrane. I'm not sure on how different the pressure guages can be before new filters are required, but I'm pretty sure that if your TDS meter reads above 10ppm after the RO membrane, then that would need changing. I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along tho!

run some water off and get someone to test the TDS of that water. lt us know what it comes out as it could be ok it migth needs pods and/or membrane rplacing
