Anyone know of anywhere in the UK to get a pressure regulator? I'm trying to use the RO directly into the auto top off system using an ASOV, but the pressure at the float valve is just too high.

I get 120psi+ in, and leaving the membrane now is 120 also, recently it was never this high but the float valve is only rated for around 80 max anyway - and now its leaking letting the tank fill slowly.

I have the ASOV to stop the waste which keeps the pressure in the system but I am going make it shut off the feed to the RO membrane which should keep the pressure at the floa valve the same as the shut off point of the ASOV

Even with this though, I think having a pressure regulator would be a safe thing to include also - but even asking a large online retailer they conclude the same as me, because pressure here isn't often high enough to need them.

The only way I can see doing it now, is an electronic pressure switch, connected to a electric controlled valve (like the auto flush kits do).

Thoughts?

Found one, sister's bf works for the waterboard so I asked him, he gave me an alternative name for what I was looking, pressure reducing valve, I added plastic on this in a google product search and magic, first result...

£8.40 and even has push fit connectors (£7 for BSP thread), so I can now have 2, one for input to protect the membrane and another to safeguard the float valve.
