Fish Fanatic
I posted last week, and received some advice for my poor guy. Well, unfortunately he passed away on Thursday night. The next day, we were notified the town water supply tested positive for coliform bacteria and E-coli bacteria.
Now I'm beginning to believe he may have become ill from the water, and no matter what I did to help, it would not have worked. I always have three gallons of pre-treated water ready for water changes, etc. It's tap water treated with a teaspoon and a half of aquarium salt and two drops of Prime. To me, these two treatments in no way would eliminate the nasty things currently in our water supply!
Thoughts and comments would be most appreciated, as I'm not going to replace my aquatic friend until the town corrects this issue.
As always, thanks....
