Don't you dare flush him :shout:
Give him a proper burial. Wrap him in napkin or something and bury him in your garden or something. Make sure its deep so scavengers don't dig him up.

:-( :rip:

I already did in the freezing 20* weather. Rip :rip:

This is the only pic I ever got of him :(

But then again maybe it was just his time. He was 4 inches living in an 8 gallon for 4-5 years with poor water conditions and not properly fed. It may have also been the shock of clean water. :( either way I hope he'll :rip: at least he died in good water and was properly fed his last week of living. I assume he was 5 or 6 since the kid got him at 1.5 inches apparently and had him 4-5 years.

Do you think it was just maybe the hard week of transition and shock and old age and stuff because he was a 5-6 year old malnutrition khuli loach living in old water that hadn't been changed in over 2 years. Was it just the shock of the week on this old khuli? I mean I'd be pretty stressed out if I moved from a closet in my own home to my friends overly tidy bedroom.

Anyone know if this could be the reason of his death?

kuhlis live a minimum 10 years, it might have been the shock :/

Minimum of 10 years or max?? I guess it could've been shock but I think all of these were factors:
Water shock
New surroundings
Being alone
Smallish tank (8 gallons)
Gravel
