Rip Black Copper Girl :(

Hm, title explains it all. Woke up this morning and she was gone. I am quite sure that she was sick for a long time, always had clamped fins and not a lot of colour. I'm kind of surprised she made it this far, but I did always keep her in good water and tried to somewhat medicate her. Never knew what was really wrong. Now she's in betta heaven with my copper marble pk, which is sad, I spent all that money on them not even too long ago. All that's left is my copper gas girl. If anyone knows of a boy that could match with her that wouldn't cost me the world, I would apprechiate it. I am so disappointed

Liv, I'm so sorry Was it the same thing that happened with your PK? I remember you were describing the problem with him; the same sort of clampy listlessness that Brutus was just starting to display before he made his final leap

At least you still have that last girl; I know the prices we were looking at were ridiculous, but Nero is currently doing much better than when we talked last night (that little bit of salt really perked him up; he's swimming almost freely now and he's gobbling down daphnia like there's no tomorrow) so if he makes a full recovery, we might be able to work out something breeding-wise with your other girl, if you like. That way I wouldn't be hunting for a lady friend for him and you won't have to track down a male.

Andie I was actually thinking about selling her to you for cheap or something. Cause I don't have much of a use for her, but I love her dearly, she's too cute. So right now I'm not sure, I released the girl from oneo f my new spawns an hour ago because she was so fat, but this boy is inexperienced so he's just chasing her, but she has tons of hiding spaces so hopefully it will be ok if I just leave her there for a while. I have hopes for these guys. Glad to hear Nero is doing better, that's awesome!

The problem with Nero, btw, now appears to be ich (and some random black slime he exudes when touched). Know how I said I thought he was rotting? The 'fraying', when he's placed under strong light, actually looks more like a very fine dusting of salt, so I rabbited up to Pets Unlimited right after class and got a new bottle of Aquarisol just before they closed. He got another water change, is nice and toasty warm, all salted up, and I hope that this will do the trick. If so, he would definitely be interested in your li'l lady

Gack I just thought I had a nest full of eggies, the girl has been in there for almost 6 hours and nothing happened yet, she's kind of shredded but has spaces to hide, so I guess I'll just wait until tomorrow.
I'll see what I can do for you, and I am sooooo happy about Nero you don't even know lol, that is wickedness
