"No one is a failure unless you try"
I found Adoniel dead today... just lying on the bottom, in full colour, curled around with his head facing his tail. I have absolutely no idea what was wrong and can't find any signs of disease... maybe he was just old? He was in the split 10 gallon and everyone else is acting perfectly normal so it's definitely not the water. Any ideas?
Right now I'm just going with the age theory since I can't think of any other reason and he was rather large when I got him. His nickname was "grandpa" because he was grey-ish and his eyes always looked like tired old man eyes
It feels like I'm losing bettas at a rapid pace lately, what with the glass cleaner incident and Altarib passing of old age. It's a bit depressing, but c'est la vie. I know they don't have a very long lifespan to begin with and I take comfort in knowing that I did the best I could for them while they were around
