Rio 180, 30 Neans/green Neons

Hey, i have a Rio 180 thats been established for over a year and i am considering a change and was wondering if a shoal of 30 odd neons or cardinals would be ok or would that be too many?

how do i know when she is close to giving birth. she has a gravid spot but i can't tell if there are eyes because she is too shiny in light.

You could probably get more in there.
