Rhinogobius wui

Mine eat bloodworms and other small live/frozen foods, they will not eat flakes.
Don't know how much they will be over there, here they were £3 each.

Yep, same here, they tried flake but spat it out. yuck.

Ours eat bloodworm and also seem to like JMC sinking catfish pellets. Our Wuis were £4.75 each.

They have a clan based social structure with the dominant male taking an entirly different colour to the subserviant males & females in his group. He will attack any other fish he sees with the same dominant colours..even his own reflection!

Curiously, if there are no males around, one of the females will adopt the dominant colours instead!

Here's one of ours.

thnx for the info
lfs dont carry them i guess i could see if they can order them for me

so would a 5 gal do? ive read its ok and have been told its ok

I have 1 in a 4.5G with a betta, he usually only eats snails or bottom feeder pellets, and the ocassional bit of brine shrimp or freshwater shrimp.

I got mine for £1.90!

They should have a nice thick layer of substrate to burrow in (at least a couple of inches). Also remember they are cold - temperate water so they will not be happy in a really warm tropical tank.
