hi, guys,
i got a pleco a few days ago, sorry i don't remember its' name, but it's one of the dwarf guys. he sticks to the glass aall the time. i rarely see him on the gravel or rocks or wood. i don't have much to graze upon on the glass, and i see him sliding down from it a lot too. basically, he is swimming restessly around the walls of the tank and doesn't seem to know where to land. i have nooo idea what's wrong with him.
i have 2 corys and they r doing great on the gravel, so i don't think it's the sharpness of the gravel. i do have plants, and caves, and wood, and rock... my water parameters are all good, other fish are doing fine. he's just swimming and swimming and swimming around the walls of the tank. he looks so uncomfy and stressed. i'm going to take him back if this continues on, i don't wanna cause him more stress.
on that note, i did have a farlowela for a few days (i had to take it back because i realized it was too big for my 20 gal tall tank), but for the time being it never accted this way. It was all around my wood and plants, and only occasionally stick on walls.
i mean, it gives me a headache watching him swim so much around (one corner mostly). even my danios don't swim that fast and so much and all day and night long...
u guys get the picture. what's going on?.. he doesn't even go around my caves, rocks, plants, etc..
