:byebye: I woke up today to fid that Breezer had passed away sometime during the night. It came as a huge shock because last night he was acting so much better for a few hours and even ate one of his pellets. Right before bed I noticed him slowing down again and just thought it was because he was probably still recovering.
I find mysel constantly looking at his little tank to check on how he is doing, I didnt relize what a habit it had become these last few weeks.
I cried for about an hour, he was my first beta and a good little man. He loved his silk plants and flaring at our cat to show her who was boss. He loved to lounge by his heater and play in the new tank water bubbles. He loved to play tag with my finger as I circled it around the outside of the tank and flaring at my mango lotion bottle. Even when he was sick he would always struggle to the side of the tank in the mornings to say hello.
Im happy he is not suffering anymore and know he is in betta heaven.
Rest in peace Breezer, mommy loves you. :byebye:

I'm crying to reading this, sorry for your loss, he sounded lovely, R.I.P.

I'm so very sorry :-(. I know how you are feeling, although I did not have as much time to get to know my little Haiku :(. I know what you mean about constantly watching them from worry, I did that a lot too, I didn't even realize how drained I was from worrying until it was over and I felt a huge weariness settle over me. Even now I find myself anxiously watching the new boys for any bad signs, and today when I was cleaning the tanks I was beyond thorough and I'm still worrying and fretting.

Big **hugs** to you. Swim happy and healthy in Heaven beautiful little Breezer :byebye:

I'm so very sorry for you.
I can say I know what you're going thru right now - it was just 2 short weeks ago that I arrived at work to find Amos was gone on.

I wish there was a way to send a hug online.

He's with Haiku and Amos and all the other little guys up there.
They're in a better place.

r.i.p., little guys...

I think Im going to adopt a couple from Wuv. At least I know they will be healthy and happy. I have to fill the little fishy part of my heart again. Thank you for your warm wishes for Breezer.
