Hey all I recently was given a beutifull 43 gal aquarium. I was under the impression the owners had taken back all there fish to the LFS however when I picked up the tank there was 3 survivors in there :p

1 Is a beutifull little bristle nose I can tell that by its moustache :p

1 Is this fellow I cant see to ID him >.<

Any information would be much apreciated as I want to see hwo big they get temp they need etc etc!

The first one looks like a female Bristlenose.
The second pic looks like a Horse-Faced Loach.

Amazing loach site! He/ she doesnt quite look like that but I was wondering what is the diff between male female bristle nose.. never knew there was a diff .. I'm really new to pleco's of the non "common pleco" style >.<

As well thank you so much for a fast reply!!

Edit: Ok shes deff a female bristlenose now that I know what to look for =D Now another question woudl it be safe to have a male and a female bristle in a 43 gal tank?

PS: With the loach site I was able to ID him by comparing a better picture and thoes online...a deffinite pattern I missed was found and thus its a juviniel YOYO loach :D You can see the pattern of YoYo on his side and the red barbs on the snout apparently mean it's a male! Thank you so much for hte site :D

Your welcome. ;)
A male and female Bristlenose would be fine in that size tank provided you haven't got loads of bottom dwellers.
There is a good chance that they will breed in there, so make sure you have somewhere to sell/rehome the babies to.
