So I rescued this beautiful male betta from walmart, water in his cup was dirty and he was cold and pathetic looking. He looked at me with those sad eyes and I just had to bring him home. He's a beautiful almost albino kinda white color on head and body with the albinoishness continued to tail and fins but with a pastel purple hue to them.
And this is why i'm having a hard time, his color makes it hard for me to tell if he's got ich or if it's just his coloration and he's fine lol.
I'm worried he has ich because a female walmart rescue I got about a week before has ich
she's got a spot on her chin other then that she's great, eats, swims alot, she seems very happy. I am treating her with API liquid super ich cure just did my second dose after first dose 2 days ago.
Ok so here's my main question I guess, is it ok to treat my new male betta for ich just to be safe? It won't hurt him even if he doesn't have it and it's just me being scared he does?
As I said his color makes it hard for me to tell if I'm really seeing spots or if it's just his color, and I really don't want to lose him, the idea is to save him and give him a good home where he's loved
