Just removed a large piece of bogwood out to make more planting room.
Which do you think looks better, before or after?

As you can see the wood was taking up a lot of space and I think distracting, agree or no?
Just waiting for the s. Repens to be cut and fill in the bottom right corner.
Cheers

First off, very nice tank. Secondly, option two looks much better.

How big is your tank?

You should enter it in the TOTM contest someday - I think you would have a great chance of winning. :good:

(I believe the 30 US gallons+ begins in November)

Perfect thanks chaps.

At the moment just 15 harlequin rasbora and a pair of kribensis. It's only 3 weeks old now, thinking a shoal of Cardinals will be joining pretty soon.
I would hold off on cardinal tetra until you tank is more established (couple of months at least) They are more sensitive to water chemistry changes which occur more often in newer tanks. I made the mistake of adding neon and ember tetra too soon and lost several.

Yeah I was thinking soon as in waiting till around the 2 month mark. Although in my last tropical tank they were in after 1 month and didn't loose any. But I'm not rushing.
My pH is around 6.2 anyway so nutrients are going to be far less toxic as is.
