Hello again all,

Planning on heading to my local maidenhead aquatics this weekend for a shop, but some questions:

My plants are looking a little brown in places, and a few black algae spots on the leaves, I believe I need to upgrade my lighting..

1) Currently my tank has two "T8" lamps in (The ones that came with the tank bundle kit (http://www.fishkeepe...ils.aspx?id=103), however can I literally just buy new JBL T8 lamps and they'll be better quality, or make the plants better, basically although my lamps are "t8" does the actual power or quality vary depending on which brand "t8" you have?

2) Can any light ballasts work with any T8?

3) How good are these hang on Co2 kits you can get?
Like these kind of ones:
Yeast: http://www.amazon.co...27443178&sr=8-5
Cannister: http://www.amazon.co...27443178&sr=8-3

My tank is 160 Litre btw.

I think if I replace my heater and lighting then my tank will have all new parts apart from the actual glasswork :D... all in under 6 months...

Thanks for any help,
Wigster

PFK seem to have a subscription offer for a Fluval CO2 kit.

The kit is rated for 57L.. so only 1/3rd of my tanks capacity, but i dont have a huge amount of plants, should I do it? I want a subscription anyway :).
