Rena Xp3 Size

could someone please tell me what height i need in my cabinet for a rena xp3 filter i know the filter is 16" high but i need to know what the smallest gap it will fit in as i am currently designing my new cabinet. thanks

When I built my stand I made the compartment 28 inches high. My stands height is about 29.5 inches high. You don't want to make it to confining because you need to be able to lift the handle for the quick release and lift the filter out from underneath. I wouldn't go less than 21 inches.
