Removing Snails From Driftwood

Hi

I have a piece of driftwood inside one tank, but its infested with snails. I want to remove this piece of wood and put it inside my other tank but without any snails.

I was thinking about boiling the wood on some water or letting it dry under the sun.


Would any of these methods kill any remaining snails

Any ideas are welcome.

either would do, though it would have to be thoroughly dried in the sun to be sure.

boiling would be faster, epecially if the snails have thick shells and operculums

heheh, thanks, I endend up boiling it and then it dried in the sun cause I forgot to put it back in until today )
